Nature has a way of making almos any so called defect look beajutiful. Something us humans struggle to achieve. This is one of those gorgeous pieces of wood and deserves to stand alone as a natural art work. It has been turned with concentric beads to give a contrast between Mother Natures work and mine but nature wins the contest for beauty Apart from that it totally as mother nature intended. It has a lot of the bark remaining which has been secured and the reverse side has mostly bark with an ebony boss. Overall it is a maximum of 12" (305mm) wide and 13" (330mm) tall. The base is iroko. It has been polished with a hard wax (carnauba) polish giving it an easily maintained finish.
