Autumn

This gorgeous bowl is made from lime. It has been turned by Pete and the art work designed and created by Mo. The design is first hand drawn then pyrographed. This ensures a definite and delicate line as well as prevebting the colours from runnin g. Mo uses calligraphy inks which behave on the wood the same way as water colours do on a canvas. The bowl has sycamore leaves and the seed pods arranged around the rim. Amongst these you will fond a tiger moth, a wooly bear caterpillar (larvae of the moth) as well as a bee and a ladybird. Altogether an incredible piece that will adorn any decor contemporary or traditional. It keasures 14 1/2" (370mm) diameter and has been finished with a hard wax polish to enablke easy maintenance and handling. 

NOTE: As with any hand crafted painting it does need to be kept out of direct su light as this will, in time fade the colours
