Yew Bowl

This is a beautiful little bowl made from one of my favourite woods, yew. Measuring just 6 3/4" (170mm) diameter and 2" (150mm) deep inside it is both practical and decorative. Like all yew it has polished to a very high sheen with a hard carnauba wax polish rendering it very tactile without the problem of finger prints. Easily maintained with amy commercial polish, kit would fit into any decor, traditional or modern. KIt has been enhanced in the wabi sabi tradition by filling minor natural defects with brass giving it a subtle, unique appearance
