This little bird has been turned from very soft spalted wood of unknown heritage. E.g. I don't know what type of wood it is other than it s a native to the UK. The base however is a lovely little piece of oak burr. cut and polished on three sodes and qith the front a cliff of bark. It measures4 3/4" tall with an average width of 5" including the tail. Overall a small but lovely little wood sculpture that is both unique and quirky.
