Koi Pond

This bowl is made from lime and has been designe to lookm like a pond full of koi carp. The bowl kis turned by Pete and the  artistic work done by <Mo. The koi are first drawn by hand and then pyrographed. The pyrography burns the delicate lines in giving the fish a clear distinct detail as well as prventing the colours from seeping. Mo uses calligraphy imks which she can blend and use in much the same way as water colours on a canvas. It os truly a one of a kind art work that will enhance any decor. It is 14 1/2" (370mm) diameter and has been finished with a hard wax olish to give ease of maintenance. 

NOTE: As with any hand crafted painting it does need to be kept out of direct su light as this will, in time fade the colours
