Vintage French Style Drop Spindle

There seems to be some debate regarding how these spindles are used, supported, handheld, semi-suspended or suspended. Styles also vary tremendously. These are hand crafted according to a variety of vintage french styles including the ones shown here and are made from a hard wood. They are made to order and are 'antiqued' using natural stains and effects.
